Rita Raso nee Potuto; passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the golden age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Vincent; Devoted mother of Anthony (Theresa) Raso, Ann Marie (John) Sabatino and Vincent (Liane) Raso. Fond grandmother of Johnny (Anne) Sabatino and Joey (Jackie Manthei) Sabatino, Nicholas and Tony Raso and Great-Grandmother of Leo and Henry Sabatino. Loving daughter of the late Vito and Josephine Potuto. Dear sister of the late Lucille (the late George) Todd, the late Marie (the late Joseph) Serritella, the late Genevieve (the late Joe) Meccia, the late Angela (the late Tony) Marzano, the late Delores (the late Charles) Sapienza and the late James Potuto and sister-in-law of Angela (late Joseph) Sclafani, Savino Raso and the late Amelia (John) Clark. Dear Aunt and Great-Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Past President of Our Lady of Charity Tabernacle Society. Author of greeting card verse. Respect for Life coordinate for over 30 years. Voted “Woman of the Year” 1993-1994 by the National Council of Catholic Women. Visitation Thursday, November 10, 3:00-8:00 PM and Friday, November 11, 8:00 AM until time of funeral, 9:30 AM at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E.
