Biography

Laurey Jean Zizzo nee Dalbis passed away on June 5, 2022 at the age of 63, after battling breast cancer for almost 10 years. Laurey’s family and friends meant the world to her. She is survived by her husband John, her parents Gus and Jean Dalbis, her daughter Jennifer (Russ) Trpkovski and son David (Stephanie) Aremka, sister Julie (Bob) Reuter and her husband John’s children Jenna (Mike) and Cara. Laurey was the proud grandmother of 6 grandsons: Gavin, Preston, Cashton, Riott, Evan and Ethan. She was a beloved aunt, niece, cousin, godmother and friend to many. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 25th, 10:00 am at St. Walter Church 130 W Pine St, Roselle, IL. Laurey’s daughter Jennifer and sister Julie will be participating in the 3-Day 60 mile Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer walk in Chicago on September 16-18 as “Team Nana Z”.
