Biography

John Scott Erickson passed away peacefully on August 23rd. Beloved husband of Alice; Dear brother of Gary (Viki) and Dale (Kris); Cherished brother-in-law of Tom (Judy), Diane (Jim) and Bob; Devoted uncle of Beth Ann, Justin, Kerstin, Kimberly, Tim, Jason, Niki, Stacie, Jeff and Hannah and loving great-uncle of many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a longtime teacher at Hanson Park School. John “Scott” treasured the Christian faith he shared with his family and friends at Bethany Beach. Visitation Thursday, August 26th, 3:00 – 8:00 pm and Friday, August 27th, 8:00 am until time of funeral, 9:30 am at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca to Saint Peter the Apostle Church. Mass 10:00 am. Interment Saint Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
