Biography

Jeanne F. Schultz nee Souders, Beloved mother of Lynda (Brian) Helmintoler, Christine (Roland) Ode, and Mary Jo (Donald) Fisher; Cherished grandma of Gabriel, Sara, Deacon, and Brian Jr. “Bubba”; Loving sister of Janet Gaske, Warren L. Jr. “Buzz” Souders, Joyce Derby, and Jackie Heavey; Dear Godmother of Philip Gaske and Shannon Derby. Succumbed to cancer on January 2, 2023 surrounded by love. During her year and a half long battle she discovered a zest for life that she had forgotten due to a lifelong battle with depression. During this time she made many friends, was known to be generous with her hugs and encouragement, and was an inspiration to many walking to her chemotherapy treatments. She fought with grace and courage. We rejoice knowing she has joined her parents in heaven. Visitation Friday, January 20th 9:00 am until time of Service 11:30 am at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Interment private.
