Biography

Frederick L Meuret Jr died peacefully on June 8th, 2023, at the age of 89 in Elk Grove Village. Affectionately known as "Farky" to many, he is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Lange) Meuret; brothers Wayne (Judy) Meuret and Leslie (Nancy) Meuret; sisters Nancy (Robert) Tobin and Carol Meuret; children Cheryl Meuret, Stephen Meuret, Cynthia (Michael) Gaynor, Jennifer Tednes, Kevin Meuret, Timothy Meuret; grandchildren Lindsey (Eric) Hollenkamp, Jill (Keith) Beeten, Melissa (Mike) Woolsoncroft, Amanda Tednes, Mitchell Tednes, Kevin Gaynor, Kyle Gaynor and Cayla Gaynor; and great grandchildren Violet Beeten, Connor Beeten and Mason Woolsoncroft. He is predeceased in death by his parents Frederick and Gladys Meuret. Fred was born in Des Plaines, IL on July 8th, 1933. Following high school graduation, he served in the US Navy. He married Rosemary Lange on February 15th, 1958. He resided in Elk Grove Village for 53 years and was a Cubs and Blackhawks fan. His passions included golf and fishing. He was a loyal member of VFW Post #9284 in Elk Grove, IL.
