Biography

Eve J. Vana of Chicago and Elk Grove Village Eve J. Vana, 100, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 11, 2021. She was the cherished wife of the late Joseph R. Vana; beloved mother of Bob (the late Anne), John (Barbara), Lynne (Ben IV) Exley, Barbara (Roger) Behrens, and Joni Wasmund; adored grandmother of Michael (Tisha) Vana, Jonathan (Jennie) Vana, Jill (Phillip) Williams, Rich (Laura) Vana, Jeffrey (Melonie) Behrens, Mark (Ali) Behrens, Jennifer Exley, Daniel (Kim) Behrens, and Allison (Chad) Stradwick and 20 great grandchildren; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Lutheran Church-Roselle will be appreciated. Funeral services will be held on February 27, 2021 at 10:30 and will be live-streamed. Eve’s family is so grateful for her life at Symphony-Hanover Park, where Eve resided since January 2013. The loving, devoted care she received there on a daily basis is certainly a major reason we were able to celebrate her 100th birthday last year. IN PERSON ATTENDANCE: In compliance with IL State mandate, registration is required for those that will attend the service at Trinity Lutheran Church. We ask that you let us know by Thursday, February 25 the names of those of your family who will attend in person. As of February 25, you may also call Trinity yourself, M-F, 9 am-4pm, to ask that your name be added to the attendance list.
