Biography

Cynthia S. Kunzendorf (nee Conley) of Addison Il. passed away on the evening of February 20, 2021 at age 63. Born to Tom and Shirley Conley on August 3, 1957 in Monmouth IL. Cindy married Tim Kunzendorf on September 3, 1988. Tom, their miracle child came into the world on March 7, 1990. A pharmacist, accomplished author, and leader in her profession, Cindy was passionate in caring for others and tenacious in ensuring excellent patient care. Cindy obtained her pharmacy degree from University of Illinois Chicago. Her career started at Cook County Hospital and she went on to pursue a masters in business. This led to a focus in home infusion where she progressed through multiple organizations to her latest position as Director of Operations at KabaFusion. Through her passion in caring for others Cindy became a leader, a mentor and most of all, a true friend to many. Cindy became an author of Finding Rainbows, to share the story of her life of hope and courage to survive cancer, then embrace life to the fullest. Family, friends, and God were the core of her strength through this journey of overcoming life's challenges and finding the rainbows. Cindy was a loving Wife, Mom, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt, Godmother, and friend to so many. We will miss her loving smile, warm heart, and unbridled passion. Her chocolate chip cookies and brownies will be missed. A Memorial Visitation Saturday, February 27th, 3:00 - 8:00 pm with a Memorial Service, 6:30 pm at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca.
