It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cristino Vargas, who left this world after a courageous battle with terminal brain cancer. Cristino passed away surrounded by the love of his family, finding peace on his journey to eternal rest. Cristino was the beloved husband of Carmen Torres, with whom he shared a love, strength, and unwavering support. Cristino leaves behind his daughter, Jessica (Brooks) Sullivan, and two sons, Chris Junior Vargas and Jamie Vargas. Cristino adored his precious granddaughters, Violet and Reya. Those who knew Cristino will remember his warm smile, his gentle spirit, and light-hearted sense of humor. His legacy of love, resilience, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. Cristino’s memory will forever be a blessing, and though he may be gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts. Rest peacefully, Cristino. You are deeply loved and profoundly missed.
