Biography

It is with a heavy heart that I must say that my mother, Christine Burnette, passed away early Saturday morning in her home after an amazing fight with cancer. She is the toughest, strongest, hardest working person I have ever met and as my amazing cousin Kelly said to me she has been a WARRIOR through this entire battle. She loved her family and was so proud of me and Rosa and the greatest gift she ever received which are her grandchildren Payton and Isabella. She was always there for us in any way we needed without question. She loved Nick with all of her heart and she is looking down on him now knowing he can do anything he sets his mind to, she is your guardian angel now brother. She loved her mother Helen so much and would do anything for her. She can give her Dad Bruno the biggest hug now. She loved her brother Larry and sister Elaine so much, she can give Uncle Dan that big hug. Her in-laws were more than that to her they were her brothers and sisters. She loved all that have passed and the ones still here she loved with all her heart Dennis, Janice and Mike. She loved all her nieces and nephews, there are too many to name here because I don’t want to leave anyone out. I just want you all to know she was so proud of you all. If you only met my Mom a few times or were great friends many years. She loved you all. Christine Burnette was the most selfless human I have ever met and Nick and I were lucky enough to call her Mom. It’s time to rest Mom and you are home with Dad. We love you and you always are in our hearts. I’ll miss you forever... Visitation Monday 3:00 – 8:00 pm and Tuesday 9:00 am until time of Service, 10:00 am at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E.
