Brent Jeffrey Lindorfer

December 26, 1956 — February 2, 2025

Brent Jeffrey Lindorfer, age 68, of Elk Grove Village, IL passed away at home and peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 2, 2025. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 26, 1956 to Deannie and the late Donald Lindorfer.

He is survived and will be dearly missed by his beloved mom, his loving wife of 27 years, Donna (nee Chesney), his dear children Jonathan (Margo), Christi (Travis), Daniel (Lindsey), his cherished grandson, Alex, by whom he was affectionately nicknamed “Bubba”, his sister Candy, brother Donn (Carrie), brothers and sisters-in-law David (Debbie), Kevin (Linda), Debbie (Dennis), Jeff (Michael), and Dan (Cindy) as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary (nee Quesnell).

Brent had a passion for the food service business and his working career was centered around that field. He always said his favorite position was Regional Manager with Wall Street Deli in downtown Chicago. Retired for many years, he loved spending time with his family, watching Sponge Bob and playing games with his grandson, traveling and telling dad jokes.

Even though he lived in IL for the majority of his life, he was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. His confirmation name, Bartholomew, was named not for the saint, but in honor of his favorite player, Bart Starr. He loved to tell the story of when he was a youth and met and got pictures and autographs from Bart, Vince Lombardi and Jerry Kramer.

Brent spent many years battling painful health issues, and he did so with courage, grace and admirable strength. The last month of his life was spent in the hospital, and his family would like to thank the medical professionals and chaplains who spent many hours trying to ease his pain. In particular, they would like to extend their utmost gratitude to his primary care doctor and vascular surgeon who over the years continually demonstrated kindness and compassion toward Brent as they fought hard to help him, and with whom he and his wife felt a special bond.

Brent’s passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends and all those whose lives were touched by him. Visitation, Sunday, February 9th 5:00-8:00 pm at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E Irving Park Road (at Prospect) Itasca. Family and friends will meet Monday, February 10th at 10:00 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of the Rosary Church, 750 W Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Interment private.
