Biography

Augustine Diana of Itasca, Illinois passed away in February 2022 at 83 years of age due to complications from advanced dementia. He was a devoted husband to his late wife Linda Diana and is survived by his son, Dan (Stacey Reeves) and grandchildren Amelia and Nicholas Diana. He was the son of Frank and Emily Diana and brother to Anthony Diana, Dennis Diana, Rae (Diana) Koenig and Mary (Diana) Stecko. He interned at the former Pisano pharmacy at 4755 W Fullerton Avenue in Chicago starting at age 14, became a licensed apprentice pharmacist after graduation from Weber High School in 1957, and was a 1961 graduate from The University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. He worked for most of his professional career at the Osco Drug Pharmacy in Franklin Park, Illinois. His pride and joy were his two grandchildren who live on with fond memories of him. A Memorial Visitation will be held in his honor, Saturday, June 18, 10:00 am until the celebration of Mass at 11:00 am at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 551 N Rush Street, Itasca.
