Alice Loretta Dean

Alice Loretta Dean, 94, beloved wife of the late Harry Dean, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at BRIA of Westmont. She was born on November 18, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, and was the daughter of the late Joseph & Anna Mertsoc. 

Alice attended Notre Dame High School in Chicago, graduating in 1946.  After high school, she found the perfect career working for the Pennsylvania Railroad as a controller.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Alice is survived by her three children, Richard, Ronald (Linda) and Robert (Lauran). She is also survived by her five loving grandchildren, Daniel (Kristen), Robert, Zachary, Emily and Melissa, and her adoring great-grandchildren, Nash and Noelle.
